Mercury Retrograde in Aries

 Today I read this great informational article by Lindsay from Daily Awe about Mercury Retrograde in Aries. Check it out.

Mercury Retrograde in Aries

Well, it’s that time again: Mercury in Retrograde. From March 30 – April 23, 2011 we once again deal with the Trickster in the sky going retrograde. The last time I wrote about this, we experienced Mercury in Retrograde in Virgo. Clearly – we survived it!

This time, Mercury is retrograde in Aries.  Aries is a fire-sign.  A “go-getter”, rarely stop to rest kind of sign. I often call Aries people the young souls of the Zodiac – eager to go out and experience life as intensely as possible.  Aries detests being held back, so we can anticipate that Mercury being retrograde in this sign means it can be brash, pushy, insensitive, impatient, and bossy. Basically, it’ll “act” like a toddler Aries who doesn’t get his or her way.

One of my best friends is an Aries and she started feeling the effects of this retrograde period days before it even started. Communication problems, technology not cooperating, work computer on the fritz. She tried sending me a picture via text message three times yesterday and I have yet to receive it. We have Mercury to thank for that! Other Cardinal signs in the Zodiac (Cancer, Libra and Capricorn) will likely feel the effects of this retrograde more than other signs.

This year, we will see Mercury in retrograde 3 times – and each time it will be in a fire sign (Aries, Leo & Sagittarius). That’s enough to make this Cancer sun/Virgo moon want to run and hide. Which I guess is fitting for retrograde periods when we’re supposed to:

  • Rewind
  • Relax
  • Reconsider
  • Repair
  • Rethink
When you look at those words, you realize that Mercury in retrograde isn’t all that bad or scary. In fact, the retrograde periods help us to move away from the past and plan the bold, brave steps we will take into our future. Retrograde down time allows us to mull over major changes before we make them. Mercury’s transit in Aries should be your time to consider what initiatives you are going to take to change your life for the better. Patience and planning are key. Really plan out your course of action after reflecting on the past,  rethinking what you know and recharging your ‘batteries’. And then go get ‘er done.

~~~~~Need some clarity or guidance for a particular issue in your life during this Retrograde period? I’m offering soul contract and spirit guide readings for an investment of $40 for a limited time. Readings can be done via email or on the phone – your choice! Contact me with any questions you might have – I love hearing from readers!
Mix It Up Monday: Crunchy Betty- Natural Remedies for Radiation Exposure
This week on Mix It Up Monday is an article about natural remedies for radiation exposure by Crunchy Betty. If you would like to see more by Crunchy Betty, you can reach her on her blog, Twitter, or Facebook, where you can find information on homemade beauty products and home remedies.
Natural Remedies for Radiation Exposure
I almost cannot believe that I’m writing this post.
It’s not to scaremonger. It’s hopefully to help.
See, This Wall Street Journal article points out that potassium iodide retailers are inundated with calls (and running out of their stocks rapidly) on the fear that the Japan nuclear fallout will reach the west coast. I’ve also seen the insane eBay auctions where potassium iodide pills are selling for upwards of $1000 at this point.
Last week, they were $8 for a pack of 14.
Am I personally concerned about radiation reaching the United States? Maybe a little bit. But there are so many mitigating factors, and the news reports on whether these meltdowns will cause radiation to travel through the jet stream are very conflicting.
But: Knowledge is power. And I’m no after-school special. I’m just saying, it is. Knowing what to do in confusing situations helps quell the fear.
And I love you guys; I don’t want you to be afraid. And I want you to feel prepared, if you are.
I’ve been researching nonstop for the last three days, and it had finally reached a point where I had to share all the information I was finding. All of a sudden, it seemed crazier not to share it than TO share it (and risk you guys thinking I was crazy).
PLEASE REMEMBER: I am not a doctor or a health professional. NONE of these things should be used as your sole source of medical advice, nor should they be acted on without consulting your physician, if you deem it necessary. I’m just sharing what I found, so you’ll have the same information I have.
First Things First – Potassium Iodide and Iodine
If stores in your area are out of potassium iodide tablets don’t fret. Painting on iodine or betadine will provide a good bit of protection against radioactive iodine. While not as reliable as ingesting potassium iodide (and not as thoroughly scientifically studied), your body will absorb the iodine, which will then travel to and hopefully protect your thyroid.
(I also just ran across, while searching for potassium iodide-containing products, this ingredients list for Ensure Plus, which DOES contain it. Not sure how much in relation to the supplements, though. In addition – funny enough – Milk Bones also contain potassium iodide. Now you know how to protect – and satisfy – Spot!)
How to paint on iodine: Purchase a bottle of 2% tincture of iodine or Betadine at your local drugstore (you may have to ask for it at the pharmacy). Paint about 2 ml or so on your abdomen (a little less for children) and allow your skin to soak it in. Do this daily until the iodine remains a reddish-orange color on your skin (doesn’t fade). When it stops fading, it means your body has enough iodine.
However, if you’re consistently exposed to radiation, you’ll want to keep painting on the iodine every day.
DO NOT DRINK IODINE OR BETADINE. Neither of these things should ever be ingested. Also, avoid them if you have an allergy to iodine (which you most likely do if you’re allergic to shellfish).
The good news is, your body naturally needs iodine, so this will serve a health benefit. (Iodine helps regulate the thyroid, helps the health of skin and hair, helps with energy and more – read more about the health benefits of iodine here.)
Now for the not-so-good news. The only think potassium iodide and iodine does is protect your thyroid against radioactive iodine. That’s it. They fill up your thyroid and disallow the radioactive iodine to infiltrate and  cause health problems and cancer down the road.
So while it’s nice to have either potassium iodide or iodine, it’s not only radioactive iodine that’s potentially going to be floating through the jet stream.
You might want to note some of the other things you can eat/supplement to help eliminate some of the radioactive exposure (IF IT HAPPENS).
Foods That Contain Iodine and Detoxifying Properties
There are other natural ways you can get iodine into your system, and these ways also have detoxification properties, so you’ll get added benefit.
And these things are: Basically anything that comes out of the ocean.
  • Kelp
  • Seaweed
  • Spirulina
  • Chlorella
Natural News reported that both blue-green algae and spirulina (in addition to containing iodine) helps rid the body of heavy metals – a concern in radiation exposure – and protects the body against cancer.
All of the above, though, according to dozens of sources I’ve read, are excellent detoxifiers and good at reducing the level of heavy metals in the body.
Where to Buy Them: You can purchase dried/powdered kelp, spirulina, and blue-green algae at most natural food stores. Mine happened to be out of kelp two days ago. (I put kelp and/or spirulina in the green smoothies I drink on a regular basis.) You can also order kelp and spirulina from Mountain Rose Herbs (aff. link). They’re actually a lot cheaper there than what I pay at my local natural foods store.
You might also be able to find any of the above (excepting shellfish) in liquid extract form, as well.
In Chernobyl, for instance, spirulina was used to help save many children from radiation poisoning. By taking 5 grams of spirulina a day for 45 days, the Institute of Radiation Medicine in Minsk even proved that children on this protocol experienced enhanced immune systems, T-cell counts and reduced radioactivity. Israeli scientists have since treated Chernobyl children with doses of natural beta carotene from Dunaliella algae and proved that it helped normalize their blood chemistry. Chlorella algae, a known immune system builder and heavy metal detoxifier, has also shown radioprotective effects. Because they bind heavy metals, algae should therefore be consumed after exposure to any type of radioactive contamination. – From Shirley’s Wellness Cafe
Protective and Detoxifying Herbs
One thing you can do, right now, to save a big bunch of cilantro is make a pesto out of it. There are a couple of recipes at the link, but this is my favorite pesto recipe EVER. It uses garlic and pumpkin seeds, which are two radically healthy ingredients, too. And delicious.
Best part? Make a few batches of it and freeze the excess. It’ll keep for months and months in the freezer.
  • Rosemary
In fact, this headline states Rosemary Found to Offer Best Protection Against Radiation Poisoning. That speaks loudly enough, don’t you think? In addition to eating the herb fresh or dried (and cooked into dishes), you can also find rosemary extract or tincture in just about any natural health food store.
  • Gingko Biloba
  • Ginseng
Both of these herbs are cited on the NIH.gov site (surprise!) as excellent protection and treatment for radiation. There are several other plants listed in this compilation of studies, but I didn’t want to overwhelm. Here’s the link to the studies if you want to read more. The actual name of the paper is: Radioprotective Potential of Plants and Herbs against the Effects of Ionizing Radiation.
  • Dandelion
This plant has excellent detox abilities, in that it’s very effective at whisking away free radicals. But it’s also great for your liver and keeps it functioning properly, which is what you want in order to eliminate any toxins that might be in your body.
You can pick fresh dandelion and eat them in salads, but if you’re concerned about radiation, this may not be the best option. (As the radioactive particles would have fallen on the plants, as well.) Check your natural health food store for dandelion root to make a tea with, dandelion tincture, or even dandelion greens in the produce section.
Other Natural Treatments for Radiation Exposure
  • Bentonite Clay
Not only can you bathe in this to help pull toxins from your skin. Bentonite clay, for example, is used by Russian nuclear workers (slathered on their skin) before working with nuclear material.
However, you can use it internally, safely, in moderation to help pull out toxins and absorb radiation. Bentonite clay is used in traditional medicine for treating heavy metal poisoning.
It’s been difficult to find any kind of recommendation on how much clay to take at a time, but I did find one commenter at this post say she takes 1 tsp a day with good effect.
  • Miso Soup
One of the main ingredients in miso soup is kelp, but it also includes mushrooms (which have their own health benefits, as well). You can buy dried miso at stores like Whole Foods and snack on the soup for months.
  • Borax
To be honest, this one’s a bit of conjecture on my part. But boron (which is in borax) is used for radiation shielding on an industrial level. If you’re particularly concerned about radiation entering through the skin, take a bath with 1/8 c. borax mixed in the water. It’s actually a fantastic skin softener, so you’re not hurting anything. Let yourself air dry, as to not wipe off all the borax.
Here’s more about boron, borax, and radiation protection. It appears you can also take borax internally, but I’m a little wary on that one.
  • Apples
  • Sunflower Seeds
According to another Natural News article, both apples and sunflower seeds contain a pectin that’s adept at cleansing the body from residual radiation. (They also mention that the glucosides in buckwheat add protective measures against radiation if eaten before exposure.)
  • Activated Charcoal
Activated charcoal, taken internally, removes toxins and poisons from the body. In fact, it’s kept in nearly all emergency rooms at this point to help mitigate the effects of poisoning. According to WebMD, there is also some scientific evidence that it lowers cholesterol. Here’s more on how to take activated charcoal internally.
I actually just bought a giant bag of activated charcoal last month, which I ordered from More Than Alive, but it’s also available at most natural food stores. Please note, activated charcoal and charcoal briquettes are two vastly different things. Please do not eat your barbecue charcoal.
Final Thoughts on Radiation Exposure
We’re exposed to radiation every day, via the sun. There’s really no escaping it. However, the vast majority of the information I’ve gathered above will help with that, too.
One last thing that’s made me feel exceptionally good is having a decent water filter. If you have the extra cash, I really would recommend getting a Berkey. Not only do I feel secure knowing my water filter is very adept at cleaning out toxins and bacteria and the like, but I also picked up (for free) the fluoride filter for it.
I ordered mine from More Than Alive (aff link),  which had the best prices on Berkey filters I could find.
Finally, here are a few more resources you can peruse for your own edification:
The CDC page on radiation
Natural News articles on:
Radiation Network comprises Geiger counter results from across the nation. You can monitor the latest radiation levels (currently, there doesn’t appear to be all that many stations) as they increase or decrease.
Does Radiation Exposure Concern You?
How are you feeling about everything that’s going on right now in Japan? Are you concerned about nuclear fallout reaching where you live?
Do you have any detox and protective measures to add to this list? Any ideas are welcome!
Donate for my 26th Birthday!!
Approximately a billion people (one in eight) on this planet do not have access to clean drinking water.  This is an alarming statistic and one that I hope changes in the future. Change can occur when a group of people mobilize for a common goal.
My birthday is on April 30, 2011 and I will be turning 26! Before you rush to send my birthday gift in the mail, I would like you to consider donating to Charity:Water.  My campaign goal is $500 dollars by my birthday (of course more is great) and this will go towards water projects in communities around the world.
Charity: water is a non-profit organization that brings clean drinking water to people in developing nations. 100% of public donations are used to directly fund sustainable water solutions in areas of greatest need. According to Charity: Water, on average, $20 can give one person access to clean drinking water.
Imagine that just 20 dollars! Please lend a hand and donate what ever amount you can; if 25 people donate 20 dollars that will give 25 people access to clean drinking water and fulfill my campaign goal!!
Thank you!
Mix It Up Monday: B.J. a la Mode- Honey Me Honeysuckle
This week on Mix It Up Monday is an article about interior design by Mamo+Parker. If you would like to see more by Mamo+Parker, you can reach them on their blog, Twitter, or Facebook, where you can find articles and services on public relations, fashion, and lifestyles.
Honey Me Honeysuckle: From the Runway to Your Hallway
Dubbed the “color of the year” by Pantone Color Institute, honeysuckle, earned the title and deserves your love for its “uplifting” qualities. Energizing, refreshing, and stimulating, honeysuckle is a spring 2011 must have for fashion. It was seen on numerous runways, such as Cynthia Steffe’s and Erden’s, as well as at fast fashion retailer H&M.
Now we’re here to give you tips on how to infuse your interior with this vivacious hue. We love honeysuckle because of what it represents: persevering, conquering obstacles, and the enduring belief that there’s light at the end of the tunnel… Lets bring the runway to your hallway with a little honeysuckle, sound good to you?
1. Discover Honey - Be able to identify honeysuckle, lol. Honeysuckle is a dynamic amalgamation of pale pink and even paler yellow, basically a reddish-pink mixture. Below is an official honeysuckle color swatch from color specialists at Pantone.
2. Pictures: Whether small accents that make big statements or large, unforgettable, eye-catching concoctions, pictures are always a nice touch.
3. Ornate Rug: Functional & economical, a rug is a perfect choice for a savvy stylista. No explanation needed for throwing out an old, dirty rug and replacing it with a bright, vivacious number.
4. Paint a wall: Bold, unforgettable, and sure to command attention. A few pails of paint won’t break the bank, plus painting is a fun way to update your space  without feeling financially committed to keeping the change.
5. Pillows: Drop’em into your room, pluck’em out at the end of the season and save’em for later. Fast, east, and cute!
6. Stencils: Stencil a fun design on your walls, cabinets, or dresser and color the image in with honeysuckle. This is a fun, inexpensive way to add a dash of pizzaz to your room, while remaining spring/summer 2011 honeysuckle haute.
7. Throw/blanket/comforter: You may not need warmth, but you’ll want to snuggle up under your new alluring throw. Thankfully, functional items can also be fashion statements!
8. Wallpaper: Pricier than painting, but we like the extra level of glamour. More is always better!
9. Couch: Big move for a seasonal change,  but we support it. Honeysuckle couches look amazing!
10. Chairs: Grab an old chair from a local thrift store, preferably one covered in fabric. Head to your local fabric store, grab some honeysuckle threads, staple them on and VOILA! Or buy a chair pre-made – pick your poison.
11. Bonus: Redo your room. Everyone isn’t able, but if you’re positioned to design rooms around the ebbs and flows of seasons-more power to you
Dream of the Day: 3 Suns
The Closed Lids Dream of the Day is an interesting one because it is MY dream! You don't want to miss out on interpreting this dream!
This dream I remember more in images, I will try to express what I saw in words.
DREAM DESCRIPTION: I was on a street in an unknown location, it looked like it was a Caribbean styled town and reminded me of my grandmothers block in Haiti. In the dream, the rain was coming down hard. It was a warm rain on a warm day, but it was heavy. I am looking down a hill and I have somewhere to go, but I am afraid to drive the car down the street because it is raining so hard that it was beginning to flood. As I peeked my head outside of the driveway, I saw that water was coming down the street as such a rate that it would be near impossible for me to drive against the current. I watched all the other cars  go down the street easily because they were going with the current. Eventually the rain settles and I drive down the street, at a stop light, I somehow get out the car and am on a block that is three blocks away from my home. At this point I am jogging and I reach the corner and this good looking man was standing next to me. He was smiling and we had a nice conversation. He was turning right towards my house and I was turning left and I turned to him and said by the way my name is Lisa and here is my number and he smiled. He stated he was glad I gave him my number because he was too shy to ask and he wanted to hang out later that day.
In the next scene I am at my grandmothers apartment with my siblings and a few kids that I used to babysit. We are all hanging out watching movies and preparing for the guy that I met jogging to come over. When he finally came over he was no longer the guy that I saw, he was Dwight Howard(or looked similar to him).  After having a few conversations, everyone was shocked that I was  friendly with Dwight Howard.
In the next scene we all gathered inside the car to go to Dwight Howard's next door neighbors home. It was a beautiful home and there was an eclipse of some sort going on with the moon and sun. I was rushing to take pictures because I knew this phenomenon would not last for long. I got a few good shots inside of the house of the three suns and/or moons in this beautiful orange/yellow color. One sun was black, the other orange/yellow and black, and the last all orange/yellow. I decided to go outside to take pictures. As I was outside trying to take the pictures my camera would not work. It was taking about 40 seconds to actually take a picture and I was getting anxious because the three sun phenomenon was ending. Finally the neighbor came to me and clicked a red button on the bottom of my camera and told me that was the reason why my camera was taking a long time to load. I was thankful, but it was too late to capture the phenomenon outside. It was like all the three suns disappeared right before me eyes.
DREAM DISCUSSION: What would you tell this dreamer, aka me?
This dream was very interesting to me, because prior to bed I had an interesting channeling experience. I am wondering if some of that information that I received transfered into my dream.
The Gift of Clair
When ever I am dealing with clients or individuals who are interested in my services, I often run into a common question: Are you psychic? What should I do? These questions are perfectly normal, because there is a lack of understanding about individuals gifts and abilities. I often like to inform individuals that I am unable to tell them which direction they should take, because their life is their own destiny. I will go on to tell them, that my services are available to assist them in their understanding of what their own dreams are telling them. I have many gifts and abilities, this I know because I have tapped into them on several occasions; some by chance and others on purpose. I will get into this later on in post.
There are several sensory gifts that begin with the prefix, clair, which means clear. When a word begins with clair, it is referring to any gift that uses the senses-seeing, hearing, touching, tasting, and smelling.
  • Clairvoyance: perhaps the most commonly known gift, which is the ability to see images/pictures of things that are far away and/or see spirits or angels.
  • Clairaudience: is the ability to hear/listen to messages that are inaudible to others.
  • Clairalience/Clairscent: is the ability to obtain knowledge via the sense of smell(odors/aromas) that comes from another source.
  • Claircognizance: is the ability to obtain knowledge by just knowing, without an explanation to why you know this information. This concept to me is similar to intuition.
  • Clairknesis: is the ability to feel spirit guides and/or angels.
  • Clairsentience: is the ability to sense feelings, emotions, energy, or vibrations.
  • Clairtangency/Psychometry: is the ability to touch an object and obtain information based on the vibrations left from the past owner/history
  • Clairgustance: is the ability to taste food/substance without actually putting that substance into the mouth.
  • Clairempathy: is the ability to connect emotionally with a person, place, even animal. Normally people who are empaths actually feel the emotion of that other person. They are in touch with the energy, vibration, and auras.
Out of these 9 Clairs, I have tapped into: clairsentience, claircognizance, and clairtangency. I believe claircognizance is what allows me to give accurate dream interpretations and precognition is what allows me to have dreams that come true. I also briefly tapped into channeling, that experience is whole different post in itself.
All gifts and abilities strengthen and improve with practice. I have not practiced everything, because I have a slight fear of what will come. Like Uncle Ben said in Spiderman "with great power, comes great responsibility" - and that is what I fear; with all these possible gifts, will I be able to handle the pressure. In the long run I would like to find my niche/specialty and focus on 1-3 gifts.
Did I miss any of the clairs?  Do you feel that you have any gifts?
Mix It Up Monday: Mamo+Parker- Supple Spring Skin
This week on Mix It Up Monday is an article about skincare by Mamo+Parker. If you would like to see more by Mamo+Parker, you can reach them on their blog, Twitter, or Facebook, where you can find articles and services on public relations, fashion, and lifestyles.
Supple Spring Skin
The picturesque days of spring are inching closer by the hour. As we’ve moved from February into March, we’re sure that like us, visions of sunshine, flowers and springtime fashion are dancing around in your head. But before you can be perfectly prepared, you have to let go of the toll that the cold can take on your skin. For spring, we envision supple, dewy, pristine skin, and even though you may be thinking your skin took too hard of a hit from winter, the skin experts have a little something different to say about that. Across the board, here are their top three tips.
  • Hydrate, from the inside and out. Water goes a long way when it comes to your skin. It’s sets the foundation, so drink away! That thick as Vaseline moisturizer that’s perfect for the winter tundra needs to take a backseat to a lighter one for spring, so start easing into the shift.
  • Out with the old and in with the new. Take the winter effects away, literally, with exfoliation. You know your skin type better than anyone else. If you’re oily, you can take a little more. Dry? Keep it on the light side. Exfoliation doesn’t mean ripping your skin to shreds, so choose your product wisely. It doesn’t have to be so gritty that it hurts — it doesn’t even have to be gritty at all says Heidi Waldorf, MD, director of dermatologic laser surgery at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in New York City. Choose wisely, but definitely do choose. It’s not just the dead skin cells that need to go, it’s also the wintertime make up. Be light and free in the spring with a lighter coverage foundation.
  • The final tip is a bit of a secret, but we’ll share it anyway. Make your face a priority. To keep skin soft, supple and spring time perfect, you have to take care of your face every single day. Cleanse, moisturize, hydrate — make it a routine.
Spring is right around the corner, so go ahead and get started — we are!
As an added bonus, we thought we’d share some of real beauty’s top products. Check them ouhere.
Dream of the Day: Espionage Thriller
The Closed Lids Dream of the Day is an interesting one because it is MY dream! You don't want to miss out on interpreting this dream! Everything that is the dream, is in italics
DREAM OF THE DAY: This dream had a few settings, I was in New York, Florida, a secret job location, and a park in an unknown location. The dream switched from setting to setting without it making sense how I was in the new location. In my dream I worked for a large company. This company had an employee who wanted to take the technology and use it for evil. The device if activated would instantly combust people, but instead of being consumed by fire they would explode into particles. So the employee went to the corporation, which was disguised as a dance studio and was arranging the device to go off. While he was getting everything together, the cover of the corporation was revealed by one of the kids in the dance studio. this happened because the kids were having a dance rehearsal and they discovered the hidden rooms. My boss and another woman, were trying to blend in with the crowd because they did not want to be associated with the employee. So the employee with his cover almost blown hastily put together the device. The device was put on this silver stand and was shaped like a yellow whoopee cushion.  At this point, I am not sure if I am observing this part because I am there or I am observing because I am the dreamer.
The next part of the dream I am in New York and the device is about to go off. The employee gets a call from my boss and she tells him that he set the device to go off in the wrong location and it was going to go off in New York. The employee was shocked and looked at his watch and realized he was in the exact location. He was on a date and his last words were "I fucked up." At this point I am there not with him, but still in the same area, but as the device goes off and everything instantly disintegrates, I am about one foot outside the radius. I am in shock and so sad because parts of New York just disappeared in front of me. I see the people explode into particles and the cars too. In the same moment news flashes are going across the globe and people were saying that 1/5th of the population was gone and that the New York disaster was going to effect the entire global economy. Everything was chaotic and people were screaming and crying for their loved ones. At that very moment, a family member(Bob) called me and said "I am flying there now."  I tried to tell him that I was fine and would take the subway home and I would figure everything out.
Somehow even, though he was coming to New York, I ended up in Florida. Bob and I started to discuss how some family members were lost in this explosion and it was up to me to disclose to the world what my boss did. So we ended up investigating and walking into this apartment complex(it appeared to be in a low income area) and I see my boss and another woman and to her face, I smile and say hello, but I turn to Bob and say in Creole "I don't like her and I don't trust her. I think she is the one that reconfigured the device for New York." I told Bob "I am going to expose her!" As I said that, I turned and saw my boss give me a weird smile. It was at that moment I realized, she understood Creole. So I am now panicked and looking for my cell phone and I realize it is missing and I suspect my boss stole it. So Bob and I walk across the street to a park.
I am not sure if this park is in Florida. At the park there are a bunch of people playing basketball and Bob asks me if I would like to play. So we walk to all the courts and the men are hardcore playing, so we go to an empty court and start shooting around. This court starts to attract the 'reject' players; women, older men, young kids, and former high school/college level players. Everyone decides that we should play a pick up game. A woman and a man are picked as captains and everyone seemed surprised that she picked me first. But she turned to me and whispered "I watched you warm up, I know you are good" So as the captains take turns picking players, I kept trying to tell my captain who to pick, but she ended up picking a team composed mostly of women and a few young men. I was annoyed because I really wanted this young guy to be on our team. As the game started, it turned out that my squad was actually good and competitive. I scored a bunch of points and a crowd started to watch because the game turned into one of pride.
A little boy who was on the opposite team was shown no mercy by me and all the other players and then Spike Lee stepped in to show the little boy how to dribble and score against taller people. On the next court, playing volleyball was the Atlanta Hawks squad. Al Horford, Joe Johnson and a few others decided to play volleyball in order to loosening up for their playoff game. They turned to look at the game going on my court and started to observe.
After this point, I do not remember how the rest of the dream went, but it started to fade out and I woke up around 6 something in the morning, then went back to sleep.
Long dream! My dreams are always feature length. I would say that 85% of my dreams come true or have significant meaning. I am not sure what this dream means to be honest. I have a few ideas, but not sure. I will need to think about it some more, but this dream did have me going hmmm.
DREAM DISCUSSION: What would you tell this dreamer AKA me ;)
**Update: I just remember another part of the dream. When the employee was setting up the device the dance studio was practicing. The thing is, the dancers were being manipulated by this high tech equipment. The dance teacher was hooked up to this machine and then what she did was then projected into the dancers bodies and they danced the same. I remember looking at the teacher and thinking that was a cool device. one where you could manipulate and project what you want done into another person.
